I lived there for a year and half. It was a great experience. I made loads of friends and got a puppy while I was here. A bottom apartment is a PERFECT place for a dog. Plus, the location couldn’t have been better. The maintenance guy was incredibly nice and responsive. It’s the only appt I’ve missed living in after 10 years of renting in 4 different states.

Though an older property, it's character blends well with the Warm Springs neighborhood. Management and maintenance are accessible and responsive. The 1B/1BA is more than sufficient for one person. A couple would struggle with storage and closet space and need to have good roommate rules for bathroom use. Assigned covered parking for one vehicle is nice, unless you have a jacked-up truck or camper. There is adequate unassigned uncovered parking. Residents are an eclectic mix of BSU students, young and older folk, since still working, others retired. A large courtyard serves as a meeting place, mostly for dog owners. After 5 years here I haven't experienced issues with other tenants. Things are quiet, though there is the occasional noises of people going and coming. During the sorts season the BSU athletic field next door will produce the usual noise from about 6:00-9:00pm a couple of days. However, they go silent religiously by 9:30. Occasionally a small herd of deer will pay us a visit through the courtyard! To be just a short walk to the Green Belt and the river, why go camping!

I’ve lived in this apartment for close to 2 years. It was a pretty good setup, great location. However there have been problems that aren’t being solved. During the last 6 months, the tenant above me has a problem with staying quiet from the hours of 2 AM - 4 AM. Loud banging and thumping noises keep me awake throughout the late hours of the night and after multiple complaints to the property manager, no action has been taken to resolve it. My roommmates and I also filed a complaint for full bicycle racks, it took 5 months after the complaint for them to finally remove stagnant bicycles. During that timeframe my bicycle was stolen because it could not be adequately locked up. Really a bummer to have to leave this place because of the loud noises late at night. Wish I could have had a better experience. -Logan G

I lived here for about 2 years, moved out last winter. It seemed like an awesome place before I moved in, and the apartments are fine overall. Adequate, but not great. However, as evidenced by the back and forth reviews and comments by residents, the management plays favorites and is sub-par if you're not on the list of favorites. Katherine, the manager, is impossible to get a hold of. I never knew her that well, and heard similar complaints from residents that considered her in only a professional capacity (manager, renter) as opposed to a friend or acquaintance. If you try to reach her physically at the office during operating hours you're very likely to be met with an "out of office" note on the door. If you try to call, you get voicemail and have to continue to call in hopes of getting a hold of her since she doesn't respond to messages. E-mails are equally met with no response, only after repeated attempts do you get anything back. I personally don't appreciate having to hound the management to get things taken care of that should have been dealt with proactively in the first place. Limited occasions like this would be acceptable but it's fairly consistent at this place. Rent was constantly being increased, but with no increased benefit of the property to justify it. When I moved out I was paying more for a 1 bedroom than I am now for a really well maintained, upgraded 2 bedroom apartment with pool and dog park. I am a dog owner and the courtyard had its perks when it was maintained but sometime last year the good maintenance guy left and it turned into a muddy, grassless patch of poop. This is not the property's fault, owners should be responsible, however when it becomes that bad I would expect the management to either enforce the constant threats of fines, or to take measures to ensure that one of the 2 major selling points is properly maintained (location and courtyard are about the only things this place has going for it, and when I left the courtyard was no longer a selling point). They have bag stations but they were rarely filled, and the poop receptacle was rarely emptied. Finally, when I moved out it took over a month to get my deposit check back. I called and e-mailed relentlessly and got a few responses back apologizing, saying she had been very busy and hadn't had time yet. It was clear that customer service was sub-par while I was a resident, and non-existent once I moved out. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to be overcharged for minimal service and a mediocre living space.

Best place I've ever lived, manager and maintenance guy are the best and I honestly mean that as a U S Marine Veteran and person whose has lived all over the world. Kathryn the manager really takes the best care of the residence here. She is an absolute must in order for a place like this to work. She so wonderful as well just as a person in general. I feel at home thanks to her. If you complain about spring creek your either crazy or incapable of being happy. Respectfully G and J
